This course is designed for yoga students and teachers who wish to deepen their understanding of the Yoga Sutras, one of the most important texts in the yoga tradition. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, participants will explore the key teachings of the Yoga Sutras, including the eight limbs of yoga, the nature of consciousness, and the path to liberation.
Participants will learn how to apply these ancient teachings to modern life, and how to integrate the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras into their yoga practice and daily life. They will also explore the commentary of Patanjali, the author of the Yoga Sutras, as well as other key commentaries, including those of Vyasa, Bhoja, and Vachaspati Mishra.
This course will give participants a thorough understanding of the Yoga Sutras and their relevance to contemporary life, as well as the skills to integrate the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras into their yoga practice and daily life.
